The inaugural Trails 4 Trials cycling course will take you through the west valley area of Goodyear, skirting the edge of the foothills of the Estrella Mountains, through the neighborhoods and parks, along scenic roads, crossing the Gila River, passing some of the largest airplanes at the regional airport and back to the start/finish at Celebrate Life Road. The course itself is 25 miles, and our Half Century and Century riders will complete multiple laps.
Water stations are available at the start/finish and at the midway point in the race. Safety is paramount! The course and intersections will be staffed by police officers; portions of the traffic lanes will be blocked for additional protection; medical help will be available throughout the course; and bike repair technicians will be available if needed at the event. The inaugural Trails 4 Trials cycling event is a USAC sanctioned event, with chip timing. Ride for a reason: cancer research!
The Family Fun Ride is a 3 mile ride with the start and finish at Celebrate Life Road in Goodyear. This course is a 1.5 mile loop with a view of the finish line throughout virtually the entire route. The family fun ride is two laps of the course, however, if younger children cannot make it they can stop after the first lap. This race will not be chip timed but is open for all family members to experience the thrill of cycling for a great cause and crossing the finish line.
